The Batlow Multi Purpose Service project was a fully designed facility for NSW Health.
The main building now accommodates Community Health, Residential Care, Acute Care, an Emergency Department, plus facilities for the NSW Ambulance Service along with new overnight staff accommodation.
The site is 1.322 ha with contract works including building, civil and landscaping works. Construction was complicated by the sloping site, with the building being designed to accommodate a sub floor space and basement plant rooms.
The building layout and specification did go through some changes during construction. Despite this, Joss were able to complete all additional works and changes with minimal cost and without delay to the project delivery.
