Involved the provision of an integrated Health & Aged Care Facility to serve the small rural town of Junee. The term Multi Purpose Service reflects the inclusion of hospital services, aged care accommodation and community health services under one roof.
The layout of the building cleverly provides for two internal courtyards, two external courtyards and five private areas to provide natural light and leisure areas for patients, residents and staff. The buildings exterior consists of a mixture of polished Boral designer blocks, composite aluminium and Colorbond cladding. These finishes combine with aluminium windows containing colour backed glass and Colorbond roofing to provide an appealing facility with minimal requirement for maintenance.Â
Joss were extremely pleased to receive further recognition when the project was awarded a 2008 NSW Master Builders Excellence in Construction Award.
