The scope of work consisted the design and construction of a new 42 Bed aged care facility followed by the staged refurbishment of the existing Amity facility.
In particular the project included:
- 24 bed low care unit including 2 beds for palliative care
- 18 bed dementia wing
- 52 bed high care accommodation within the existing building
- New Shared Resident areas
- New Reception and Administration areas
- Commercial Kitchen & Laundry Refurbishment
- Extension of existing Lounge/Dining Areas
- New site entry, carpark, and Porte Cochere
- Extensive landscaping works including new Dementia Courtyards, Family Courtyard, and al fresco dining area.
- Replacement of a significant failed retaining wall along the services entry
- Investigation into structural failure of the existing building and associated remedial works
